Président de France-Chine Art-Expo

Jean Jacques Humbert est né à Marseille en 1947 et vit depuis plus de 40 ans à Lille où il a exercé le métier d’entrepreneur du bâtiment. Dans le panel de ses activités de retraité, son goût pour le dessin l’a propulsé dans ce monde de la peinture qu’il ne connaissait pas !

Il prend dès 2008 des cours de modèle vivant sous la directive d’Hervé Venet et complète sa formation par des cours d’aquarelle avec différents professeurs de l’Atelier du Petit Chevalet créé par Isabelle Venet à Lambersart (nord) et dont il a assuré la fonction de trésorier.

Aujourd'hui, après un premier voyage en Chine avec d'autres artistes en 2013, il assure le poste de Président de l'association FRANCE-CHINE ART-EXPO regroupant aujourd’hui une trentaine d’artistes de plusieurs régions de France et de l’étranger.

Il suit et organise les expositions nationales et internationales de cette association et entre de plein pied dans ce monde qui s'ouvre à lui et le passionne !

Il était cartésien, rigoriste, les parallèles et la verticale le contraignaient ; il a travaillé son cerveau droit et le résultat est là, le geste se délie, les émotions se traduisent maintenant sur le support.

Il maîtrise différentes techniques graphiques, et naturellement l’aquarelle qui, dans sa difficulté de mise en œuvre, lui apprend à analyser son perçu, son ressenti, pour concrétiser enfin ses émotions.

Il est en réflexion permanente non pas pour ses œuvres qui sont un passe-temps, mais pour ses engagements associatifs dont « France-Chine Art-Expo » et naturellement la Chine qui à la fois l’attire et l’inquiète …

L’artiste vit et travaille à Ennetières en Weppes, dans la banlieue de Lille

Jean Jacques Humbert was born in Marseille in 1947 and has lived in Lille for over 40 years, where he worked as a building contractor. In the range of his retirement activities, his taste for drawing propelled him into this world of painting that he did not know!

In 2008, he took live model lessons under the direction of Hervé Venet and completed his training with watercolor lessons with different teachers from the Atelier du Petit Chevalet created by Isabelle Venet in Lambersart (north) and for which he provided the function of treasurer.

Today, after a first trip to China with other artists in 2013, he holds the post of President of the FRANCE-CHINE ART-EXPO association, which today brings together around thirty artists from several regions of France and abroad.

He follows and organizes the national and international exhibitions of this association and enters fully into this world which opens up to him and fascinates him!

He was Cartesian, rigorous, the parallels and the vertical constrained him; he worked his right brain and the result is there, the gesture is loosened, the emotions are now reflected on the support.

He masters different graphic techniques, and naturally watercolor which, in its difficulty of implementation, teaches him to analyze his perception, his feelings, to finally concretize his emotions.

He is in constant thought, not for his works which are a hobby, but for his associative commitments including "France-China Art-Expo" and of course China which both attracts and worries him ...

The artist lives and works on Ennetières en Weppes, in the suburb of Lille (France)
